Hi Folks,
We hope y0ur winter is going fast and you are looking forward to another exciting and action packed summer. As usual summer is coming up so fast and we have so much to do before the brown bears wake up and welcome us back for more photos Lake Clark and Katmai National Parks and Preserves.
Some of you that have traveled with us on our brown bear safaris will know that Kirsten and I have been dating for about 5 years and I asked her to marry me on top of Augustine Volcano in the fall of 2016. As a reminder Augustine Volcano is the mountain 60 miles from Homer, Alaska on the west side of the Cook Inlet. Here is a link to the Alaska Volcano Observation site in Alaska https://www.avo.alaska.edu/volcanoes/volcinfo.php?volcname=Augustine
I’ve attached some pictures of our engagement up on the Mountain Augustine volcano. She said yes of course. And good thing since we both know how to fly helicopters she could of said no and escaped in the helicopter leaving me stranded on top. Luckily for me she said “YES”.
Just a couple of days ago on February 3rd, 2018 we finally tied the knot. Since most of our dating and engagement life has been surrounded by the outdoors and aviation, especially helicopters, we have a multitude of aviation inspired photos.
We look forward to seeing you this summer on our Alaska brown bear photo safaris, Mountain Augustine volcano and Harding Ice field and glacier adventures.
Eric and Kirsten
